Rick Grimes has to die eventually, right? Or does he?
AMC will surely continue “The Walking Dead” until we all stop watching, which means that it may end up becoming one of the longest-running shows in history. Sure, the ratings may be declining a bit here in the seventh season, but they’re still super high and the series remains incredibly popular nearly a decade after it began. But what is the eventual end going to look like?
Andrew Lincoln, who plays badass hero Rick Grimes, has an idea.
At Paleyfest last week, Lincoln and other stars of “The Walking Dead” were on hand to talk about the show, and Lincoln dazzled the crowd with his hilarious take on the series finale. Granted, he was mostly joking, but his vision for the end of Rick Grimes’ story is so perfectly badass that I’m not sure I’ll accept anything else. Long story short, he doesn’t think Grimes should die.
He wants Grimes to become, well, the king of the zombies.
