What a time to be alive, huh?
While we wait for new episodes of “The X-Files” (they could be coming as soon as 2018), we’re happy to report this week that one of the most beloved TV shows of all time has just been turned into a sweet, silly, sci-fi bedtime story for kids! Set for release on August 29th, The X-Files: Earth Children Are Weird will introduce the cult TV show to an entire new generation of fans.
The 40-page hardcover popup book comes from Quirk Books. Illustrated by Kim Smith and recommended for kids 4-8 years old, it’s described as “humorous and not-scary-at-all.”
In the book…
Best pals Dana Scully and Fox Mulder have pitched a tent in the backyard for a sleepover. But the night is full of strange sounds, lights, and shadows. Surely there’s a rational, scientific explanation for everything . . . or is there?
