Fans awaiting the next iteration in the Darksiders series received two surprises today, the first courtesy of Amazon. A new listing for Darksiders 3 popped up on the online retailer’s website today, complete with synopsis and screenshots. The release date is listed as December 31, 2018, but that will most likely change.
Later on in the day, IGN posted a trailer for the game. Darksiders 3 will have you playing as a woman named Fury on a quest to destroy the physical versions of the Seven Deadly Sins. The game is being developed by Gunfire Games, whose team includes multiple ex-Vigil Games employees. Vigil Games worked on Darksiders and Darksiders 2 on mulitple fronts, so the team has experience in the game’s universe.
