We’re all pretty stoked about Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant. The return of Xenomorphs to the Alien universe is something we can all agree upon is a welcome sight. You know what else is a welcome sight? Custom controllers for your Playstation 4.
The folks at XQGaming, who specialize in custom controller casings (like an NES motif for your PS4 and controllers, for example) have taken it upon themselves to create a custom DualShock 4 PS4 controller in a wicked send-up to Alien: Covenant, which they’ve posted progress shots on their Facebook page. According to the Netherlands-based company, “This kind of controller cost an upwards of € 1500, – and have 50+ hours work into them.”
The controllers themselves are still being created, but the company plans to post a video on their YouTube channel once the controllers are completed next month. In the meantime, we await Alien: Covenant, which hits theatres May 19th.
