This is fan art. In case you missed that. It’s fan art. Made by a fan.
Neil Marshall is set to direct the upcoming franchise reboot Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen, which will recast the iconic role made famous by Ron Perlman. The man tasked with filling Perlman’s massive shoes? That’d be David Harbour, who we all fell in love with as Chief Jim Hopper on Netflix’s “Stranger Things.” But what will Harbour look like as Hellboy?
Of course, we won’t know until the movie is actually made and released, but artist Boss Logic just worked with ComicBook.com to imagine what Harbour *could* look like as the man with the red right hand. Boss Logic’s fan art is pretty badass, we must say, and fits in line with the “darker and more gruesome” aim of the upcoming reboot. You can check it out below.
The Millennium Films project has already been scripted by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden, and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, and the plan is to bring it to the screen with an R rating.
