Capcom’s Ghosts ‘N Goblins is one of those classic quarter munchers from the glory days of the arcade that’s still fun to play today, hair-pulling difficulty and all. Sir Arthur, the series’ protagonist, has sadly never approached the heights of Capcom’s other well-known personalities like Ryu, Dante or Mega Man, but he’s still noteworthy enough to have a cool figure being made of him, courtesy of Union Creative.
The figure’s been in development for some time now, and it was finally announced late last week that you can get it this September. Priced at 6,980 Yen (about $62 USD), the Game Classics Vol.1 Ghosts ‘N Goblins Arthur will be available in two variants: The first being Arthur in his classic silver armor, and the limited edition Ghouls ‘N Ghosts-style gold armor at Ebten.jp.
The figure stands just under five inches tall, and will come with interchangeable faces, beards, hair and hands. The regular version will come with a lance, a dagger, a torch, an axe, and a removable horn for the helmet. The exclusive version will come with all of that, minus the horn (different armor). In its place, this version will come with a removable cape. And yes, with either version, just like in the games, you can remove the armor.
