As you know by now, Neil Marshall (The Descent) has been hired to direct brand new upcoming film Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen, which will reboot the Mike Mignola-created franchise with a new vision that’s said to be darker and more gruesome than Guillermo del Toro’s two movies.
“Stranger Things” star David Harbour is your new Hellboy, and he’s currently being fitted for his hand of doom! A photo posted over on Instagram tonight shows Harbour in the effects shop, where a mold of his arm is being taken. He captioned the photo “right hand of doom,” and it’s our very first behind the scenes shot.
Find it below, along with a fun photo of Harbour and former Hellboy, Ron Perlman!

The Millennium Films project has already been scripted by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden, and Mike Mignola, and the plan is to bring it to the screen with an R rating. It is being executive produced by Christa Campbell, Lati Grobman, and Carl Hampe.
Look for Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen in 2018.
