While we wait for more news on the Don’t Breathe sequel that is apparently happening, we’ve got a fun little treat for those of you who dug last year’s film
Evil Dead remake director Fede Alvarez was the man behind Don’t Breathe, and he just tweeted out a piece of retro-style poster art that he himself whipped up.
“My own 80’s Poster design for #DontBreathe,” Alvarez tweeted, along with the image. The art has a certain Drew Struzan feel to it, which needless to say makes it pretty damn awesome. It’s also much better than the film’s on-the-nose official poster, which had an image of Jane Levy with her hands clasped over her mouth.

Levy stars in Don’t Breathe as one of three teens who break into a blind man’s home (Stephen Lang) thinking they’ll get away with the perfect crime. Dylan Minnette (Goosebumps) and Daniel Zovatto (It Follows) play the other thieves.
