Stacks of VHS tapes make me feel things.
Thanks to companies like Fright Rags and Cavity Colors, we have no shortage of awesome horror tees to fill our closets with. In their wake, new ones are springing up left and right, and one called Studiohouse Designs just caught our attention in a big way.
The company just unleashed their limited edition “VHS or Die: Part 13” design, which pays tribute to the entire Friday the 13th franchise. More specifically, it pays tribute to the Friday the 13th franchise… ON VHS!
On the front of the shirt, VHS tapes of every Friday film are stacked one on top of the other, from the original classic straight through Jason X. It’s a simple photograph, one that most of us could probably take right now in our own homes, but it makes for a t-shirt that’s packed with nostalgia and so much love for the glorious video store era.
The design is available on a $25 t-shirt (with an 8-bit variant), as well as on a $30 white & red or blue & purple raglan.
