What… the… hell.
Just last week, I praised the unbridled creativity that Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Chappie) has been bringing to the table with new venture Oats Studios. The Sigourney Weaver-starring Rakka and last week’s Firebase were both visionary slices of sci-fi insanity that show what Blomkamp is capable of without studio involvement, and I’m so excited to see what’s next.
What is next, you ask? That’d be Zygote, teased today ahead of its July 12th unveiling on YouTube and Steam. We have no idea what to expect from Blomkamp’s latest short, but one thing is for certain based on the insane teaser… you can expect pure madness of the highest order.
