Published

The hit horror franchise returns on October 27, 2017.

Seven years after the last installment in the Saw franchise, Jigsaw will return to the big screen this Halloween season in, well, Jigsaw (formerly Saw: Legacy). The film will have a presence at San Diego Comic Con later this month, so we expect a trailer soon.

In the meantime, Arrow in the Head got their hands on the official poster, which you’ll find below.

One of the highest-grossing Horror franchises of all time is back, taking the Jigsaw killer’s signature brand of twisted scenarios to the next level.

The new chapter in the long-running saga has been rated “R” for “Grisly Bloody Violence and Torture.”

We understand that neither Costas Mandylor nor Cary Elwes will be returning to play their respective characters, who both ended up becoming Jigsaw apprentices in earlier installments. As for the original Jigsaw himself, Tobin Bell will be back in some capacity.

The cast also includes Mandela Van Peebles, Laura Vandervoort, Brittany Allen, Callum Keith Rennie, Matt Passmore, Hannah Emily Anderson, Josiah Black, Shaquan Lewis, Michael Bolsvert, and James Gomez.

Jigsaw was written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger (Piranha 3D and Sorority Row). In the director’s chairs were the Spierig brothersPeter and Michael, who brought us Daybreakers and Predestination.

Franchise staples Mark Burg and Oren Koules returned to produce.
