We got our first glimpse at Andy Muschietti’s IT when the trailer hit back in March, promising a terrifying new adaptation that looks to put the 1990 mini-series to shame. The trailer shattered global viewership records on YouTube, to date amassing over 30,000,000 views on the official Warner Bros. channel alone!

Today brings a brand new trailer, and oh boy is it terrifying. It’s home to lots of new footage, giving us more of a feel for the Losers’ Club and the strange town of Derry. Best of all, it’s jam packed with new Pennywise scares that honestly have me believing this is going to be one of the all-time scariest movies ever made.
I know, I know. We all hate hype. We especially hate over-hype. But watch this trailer and tell me with a straight face that this doesn’t look INCREDIBLE. Go ahead. Try.
In the new adaptation…
A group of young kids face their biggest fears when they seek answers to the disappearance of children in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
The kids in peril, the Losers’ Club, include Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor. Javier Botet will play The Leper, and Nicholas Hamilton plays Henry Bowers. The cast also includes Owen Teague, who plays bully Patrick Hocksetter. Bill Skarsgard is our new Pennywise.
The film will be in theaters September 8, 2017.
