Earlier today, IT director Andy Muschietti and producer/sister Barbara Muschietti took part in a Q&A session over on the official IT Twitter account, which saw them both answer a handful of questions submitted by fans of the film.
During the AMA session, the Muschietti siblings talked about everything from their favorite scenes in IT to the members of the Losers’ Club they each identify with most, so we encourage you to check out the whole Q&A if you’re hungry for more insights.
Of particular note, Andy Muschietti was asked to name some of the horror movie scenes that terrified him most as a child. We already know that Muschietti’s childhood fear of Amedeo Modigliani’s paintings worked its way into both Mama and IT, but which movie moments shook him to his core when he was a kid?
Three movies in particular left a mark on a young Muschietti: 1959’s Manster, 1975 TV movie Trilogy of Terror and 1971’s The Abominable Dr. Phibes.
