While Nintendo’s portable miracle is not shy of a Resi game (it has Revelations 1 & 2 and a streamed version of Resident Evil 7), more would certainly be welcome. Well, Capcom agrees, and it has announced that three popular Resident Evil titles are heading to the Switch next year.
Capcom revealed that Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil Remake, and Resident Evil 4, will all be lurching onto the hybrid console in 2019, with more details to come in the near future.
Obviously, the most enticing part of this news is the chance to play some of the best Resident Evil titles in portable form. I don’t know about anyone else, but even though I’ve played Resident Evil 4 multiple times over multiple formats, the idea of dispatching Las Plagas on a plane, train or bed is somewhat exciting.
It’s good to see Capcom heavily supporting the Switch. maybe next they could pop a few Devil May Cry titles on there, yeah?
