You may not love Five Nights at Freddy’s, but there’s no denying it’s been one hell of a lucrative horror game franchise. After countless sequels of the same basic idea, it did need a bit of freshening up though.
Luckily then, the previously-rumored VR spinoff has been made official in PlayStation’s State of Play video, bringing a new perspective to the successful series.
The game, titled Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, is published by Lionsgate, and sees you experience levels new and old in virtual reality, which could breathe new life into the scares.
Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted will be coming to PSVR, HTC Vive, Oculus, and Steam next month, but there’s no nailed down date just yet.
