This morning, CBS All Access launched two episodes of the brand new “The Twilight Zone” on their subscription-based streaming service. One episode is a reinterpretation of “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet”, while the other is “The Comedian”, in which Kumail Nanjiani wants to be a famous comedian, but at what cost? The latter is now streaming for free and has been embedded below.
Rafael enjoyed the debut episodes, writing that producer and host Jordan Peele has ushered in the perfect new “Twilight Zone” for our nightmare reality. While I agree that it’s socially relevant, I find that it’s at the expense of the show’s entertainment and plays like an incredibly boring after school special.
