Netflix has released a new trailer for its retrotastic Stranger Things 3 tie-in game, and it presents a whole host of playable characters from the hit series in their dinky 16-bit style incarnations.
The trailer has the likes of Billy, Dustin, Jim, Joyce, and everyone’s favorite babysitter Steve Harrington amongst the playable cast. 12 cast members will be playable in the final game.
Unlike the earlier, worryingly basic battering of baddies in the previous trailer, there’s a touch of the drama and humor that punctuates the show. So as much fun as it will be to bludgeon Demodogs with Steve’s trusty baseball bat, you’ll just as likely be able to watch him give Dustin some life advice (though probably more bludgeoning if we’re honest).
Stranger Things 3: The Game will be out July 4, to coincide with the release of the new season of the show on Netflix.
