Media Molecule’s PS4 creation game Dreams has allowed many to flex their creative muscles, with a healthy mixture of new ideas and recreations of other games already prevalent despite the game being in Early Access for a matter of weeks. Naturally, that’s led to a lot of horror efforts, including a recreation of Dead Space and the true test of any budding bedroom developer, remaking the P.T. demo.
User akincibey71 has gone a bit further into horror gaming past however, and has started to remake the classic 90s version of Resident Evil.
The above video shows it’s clearly early on in the creation process, but there’s some impressive stuff to it already (having the gruff voice saying ‘Resident Evil‘ on the title screen for instance). It’s funny to see the cutesy Dreams cursor floating about on the ‘You Are Dead’ screen.
Dreams allows PS4 players to create their own games, art, music, and animated stories with its suite of creation tools. It’s in Early Access at the moment and available on the PlayStation Store.
