A game that’s “deliciously rich in story and world-building“, Frogwares’ The Sinking City is coming to the Nintendo Switch. And while we still don’t have a release date yet, Frogwares has released new gameplay footage from the Switch port.
On top of that, the Switch version of The Sinking City will feature gameplay tweaks that are based on player feedback from the console and PC releases. The Switch version will also allow players to navigate menus with the touchscreen, and will include a gyroscopic aiming option.
“We did our best to optimize the game and ensure it runs at a stable 30 frames throughout,” says Producer Serge Chervonnyi. “We also improved combat a bit to have more weight and feel. Weapons now have new gunshot sounds, improved recoil and new visual effects. We also did our best to improve the game from people’s feedback. So things like crowd behavior and pedestrian AI has been tweaked along with all around additional levels of polishing and bug fixing.”
No word on the release date, but that should be forthcoming in the next few weeks. The Sinking City is available now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
