We’re in a tricky time as horror fans — while we’re only days away from Halloween, the best day of the year, we’re also only a few days from November 1, the longest stretch of time before it becomes October again. Luckily, there’s at least one way we will be able to keep up our morale in the coming weeks, thanks to Universal Horror Unleashed confirming that Krampus & Kin will be returning to the Las Vegas attraction this year.
Per press release:
Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas is decking the halls with dark holiday frights as Krampus & Kin returns with new screams of the season. During this limited-time holiday celebration, guests will step into a twisted winter wonderland with transformed immersive areas, encounter legendary characters of winter folklore, experience a haunting musical procession, and savor fiendishly festive food and beverages. Those brave enough can celebrate the darker side of the holidays on select dates November 19 through January 10, 2027, at the ultimate horror experience.
Twisted Holiday Horrors
As guests enter Universal Horror Unleashed, they’ll discover eerie holiday music, haunting decorations and familiar characters revealing their holiday alter egos.
- In Frost Bite, Dead Storage becomes an icy feeding ground ruled by the Vampire Frost Queen, with her Frost Guard and Frost Stalkers hunting unsuspecting visitors.
- At Kill Vault Video, guests can browse holiday horror films before uncovering the disturbing secret concealed behind the video wall.
- Meanwhile, Home for the Horrordays transforms Prop Graveyard into a twisted family gathering, where the Twin Sister and Twin Brother host their most disturbed friends for a gruesome Christmas celebration.
- In Yuletide Legends near Krampus Haus, guests can come face-to-face with Krampus and explore oversized storybooks bringing sinister winter folklore to life. Returning creatures Grýla and Kallikantzaroi are joined by Mari Lwyd, Hans Trapp and Frau Perchta.
A haunting, lantern-lit musical procession brings the legends together throughout the night, leading to a dramatic lighting moment around Krampus’s towering black holiday tree. Guests can also capture chilling memories on Krampus’s skull-encrusted throne and in Grýla’s cauldron.
The celebration wouldn’t be complete without Jack the Clown and his Maniacs bringing to life, or death, a sinister holiday twist to Demented Circus in Premiere House, with high-energy rock music, specialty acts, dark comedy and theatrical kills turning the season of giving into a night of terror. Reservations are now available for guests ready to add a little mayhem to their holiday plans.
