This bleak film follows Maud (Morfydd Clark) a young in-home nurse as she tries to save the soul of her dying patient Amanda (Jennifer Ehle), a former dancer with her own ideas about the afterlife. The sparks these women create as their various beliefs and traumas clash leads to a harrowing conclusion not soon forgotten.
