‘The Dead’ – Bloody FM & George A. Romero Foundation Podcast Returns for Sixth Season
The Dead, the Bloody FM podcast network co-production with the George A. Romero Foundation, returns for a new season Tuesday, July 16th. Each mini season of the scripted podcast features a different writer expanding Romero’s zombie universe.
Chapter 6: Turas is written by CK Anderson, a horror and thriller screenwriter and film professor now based in Pittsburgh. Anderson teases, “I’ve been working on Turas for close to a year now, and I’m so excited to finally get it out into the world. I hope you all enjoy listening to this spooky journey through the Scottish countryside as much as I enjoyed writing it!”
“The Dead aims to offer new and old fans of George A. Romero’s works a deep dive into the world of the undead he’s inspired. The contributing writers for this anthology series, through mentoring with The George A. Romero Foundation, have brought their own styles of horror into the mix, from Chapter 1: Precious Cargo, where we explore acts of bravery in the face of our own demise, to Chapter 2: Ephemeris, where the horrors of betrayal and the risks we’d take to survive go beyond sanity itself,” said showrunner Rissa Montañez.
