A special, darkly whimsical talk show hosted by a horror stalwart and a found footage creepfest lead October’s programming lineup for Screambox.
Screambox exclusive Creature of the Pines arrives on October 13.
It’s a found footage horror film that follows “a skeptical documentary team into the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Tasked with investigating a series of mysterious vanishings, the crew relies on interviews and field research to uncover the local lore. But as they venture deeper into the wilderness, the legend begins to close in on them, turning their production into a terrified struggle for survival against something that has been watching them all along.”
Chris Ruppert & Tyler Transue write and direct. Greg Poppa, Eric Melaragni, Austin Green, and Kelly Warren star. The horror film arrives on streaming after making its festival premiere earlier this year at Panic Fest.
Devil’s Night, October 30, brings original series Your Dearest Darkest Friend with host Ted Raimi.
In Your Dearest Darkest Friend, Raimi welcomes celebrity guests into his haunted manor for an evening of confabulation, cocktails, and the presence of an uncanny creature or two… Joined by his puppet companions, Raimi takes viewers on a delightfully dreadful journey into the minds of some of the biggest names in horror—with a twisted sensibility only Ted Raimi can deliver.
While guests will be announced soon, The Last Podcast on the Left collaborates and joins the series in a special way, lending their voices to the various puppet denizens to assist Ted Raimi in hosting duties.
