Episode 6: The Best Fucking Fight Scene Ever Put on Television
By this point, Preacher had already featured a handful of fight scenes, but the season’s standout fight scene came in episode six, titled “Sundowner”. In it, Jesse must team up with Fiore and DeBlanc to take down the angel Seraphim (Julianna Potter), who has been sent to execute the latter two for going on an unsanctioned mission to earth. The scene has to be seen to be believed, as it is simply stunning what director Guillermo Navarro pulls off in just a few astounding minutes.
