Today is a very important and special day. See today is October 27, 2015 and its the official start of the 2015-2016 NBA season. Horror and basketball may not go together that well in the eyes of some, but for me these are my two greatest loves. They both share an equal space in my heart and I think our very own Mr. Disgusting would share this sentiment.
Sadly I do not know of many horror films that work in a basketball theme or reference – if you know of any please tell me. With that said, the late Wes Craven did bring my two worlds together, even if only briefly, back in 1986 with Deadly Friend. Say what you will about the movie as a whole, but you cannot deny that it features one of the most glorious death scenes to ever grace the screen. I figure that on this day, the start of the NBA season, we could all celebrate by giving this clip a watch. Trust me, regardless of your opinions on basketball you are sure to love this scene.
