Dutch actress Sylvia Hoeks is the latest thespian to join the cast of the sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1982 sci-fi noir masterpiece Blade Runner, according to Variety. Hoeks recently made an appearance in the decorarted Italian mystery drama The Best Offer.
The sequel is being directed by Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) and is written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green with Multi-Oscar nominated cinematographer Roger Deakins on board. Other confirmed actors include Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, and Dave Bautista.
The Blade Runner sequel will come out in theaters on October 6th, 2017.
