Hulu’s “Haunted Screens” Are the Perfect Halloween Background

Riffing on popular Yule log videos that populate YouTube, Hulu has released their own that are perfect for setting the Halloween mood.

Residing on the streaming service, Hulu released a trio of “Haunted Screens” that each run for nearly an hour.

The one shared below gives homage to George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead; it depicts a haunted graveyard that’s visited by random spooks over the course of the runtime. There are two others, including the awesome “Toil and Trouble”, which is taken from the pages of Macbeth and displays a witches’ cauldron boiling over as they add their uncanny ingredients. The third, “Day of the Dead”, comes in honor of the dead and celebrating the tradition of Dia de los Muertos; watch as this altar transforms.

These are absolutely fantastic and I hope they build on these in the coming years. There’s so much more that can be done and so many genres that can be explored. For now, here’s the “Graveyard” haunted screen with the others at Hulu.
