A wood and fire coaster – what could possibly go wrong?!
The crops are sure not to fail at UK theme park Alton Towers with the revelation of a Wicker Man inspired ride set to open this spring! It marks the first wooden rollercoaster to be built in the UK for 21 years and will uniquely combine fire. A Wicker Man structure standing at 57.57ft (17.55m) tall – the height of a six-story building – will dominate the very center of Alton Towers Resort, appearing to burst into flames as the wooden track races three separate times through the structure.
