Being a wrestling fan himself, Tom Savini has partnered with WWE several times in recent years, often helping to create masks for the superstars to wear at the annual WrestleMania. A few years back, Savini designed a mask for Triple H, and last year he made one for Kalisto. This year, it was Savini’s studio that played a role in WrestleMania.
Luke Harper, star of this year’s period horror film Mohawk and one half of WWE’s Bludgeon Brothers, came to the ring at WrestleMania 34 wearing a new mask, and Savini revealed on social media that it was created at his studio. The mask, an animal skull, was supervised, molded, fabricated, and painted by Jason Baker, sculpted by Petra Burkhalter.

Savini and his team have designed all the masks worn by Erick Rowan over the years, the other half of the Bludgeon Brothers. And they just might be the team’s good luck charms, as the bearded brutes won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania this year!
