Funny or Die is offering this mashup that takes scenes from Tim Burton‘s comedy Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure and injects them into footage from the David Gordon Green-directed Halloween. The result is the sloppy faux trailer for “Pee-Wee’s Big Halloween”.
It’s been 40 years since Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) survived a vicious attack from the crazy and zany Pee-wee Herman on Halloween night. But when Pee-wee escapes, will her family be safe from what is certainly to be his biggest Halloween adventure ever?
I dig mashups and fan edits, but this one doesn’t work for me at all (I way prefer this trailer that imagines Big Adventure as a horror film). I vote “Die”, but who knows, maybe you’ll get a kick out of Pee-Wee as Haddonfield’s boogeyman…
