Authorized by Sara Karloff, the late horror legend Boris Karloff‘s daughter and head of Karloff Enterprises, Karloff: The Play first took to the stage back in 2014, and the one-person stage play about the life and career of Karloff most recently took over The Abbey Theatre in Dublin, Ohio earlier this month. Next year, it’s getting an audio adaptation.
The play’s official Facebook page announced this week, “A special audio adaptation of Boris Karloff’s life story, sanctioned by Sara Karloff, is now in production. A deeply immersive experience is being created which will keep your ears and imagination tingling. It will be available in four 20+ minute episodes and in a single 90+ minute file.”
The play is a multimedia piece, full of music, sound and images, which tells the adventure of the star’s life in a kaleidoscope of fast-paced, time-hopping vignettes which celebrate art, life, and the indomitable human spirit. For more information, head over to KarloffThePlay.com.
