I’m a sucker for a good mashup, but let’s be honest, most of them are horrible. I rolled my eyes when I saw someone decided to smash together Steven Spielberg‘s dramatic E.T. with Wes Craven‘s slasher A Nightmare on Elm Street. The concept seemed like an attempt at click-baiting the popularity of these fan edits, but on further inspection, it’s actually pretty funny. You see, YouTube channel Space Taste is in on the joke and delivers a surprisingly coherent mashup before it digresses into a full-blown joke.
