It’s not the first time they’ve celebrated Halloween with a spooky stamp collection, but the United States Postal Service has today teased their upcoming line of Halloween 2019 stamps!
This year’s collection is dubbed “Spooky Silhouettes.” The four different stamps, which pop with bright colors against black backgrounds, each feature iconic Halloween images.
“Halloween has long been a holiday that lets us delight in the things that scare us. With the approach of autumn, Spooky Silhouettes stamps will offer fun, frightful scenes that symbolize this annual celebration,” the Postal Service announced this week, promising release information soon. “Four stamps feature digital illustrations in which traditional Halloween motifs are rendered as black silhouettes in eerily backlit windows.”
Artist Tyler Lang created the artwork. Art Director Greg Breeding designed the stamps.
