See Iconic Video Game Architecture Recreated in Voxel Art!

The wonderful thing about video game worlds is that while they can be based on reality, the scope for truly extravagant and unique settings is immense. Architecture in these worlds is a great example of this. Turning a corner or walking through a door to see some staggering monument, building, shrine, or cityscape before you can be a magical moment. Think of the Lighthouse of Rapture in Bioshock, the many beautifully bleak structures found in From Software’s games, or Half-Life 2‘s monolithic Citadel tower.

In Home Advisor’s project, A Tribute to Video Game Architecture, they celebrate some of the finest structures in gaming history, with a focus on several particular series, and do so by recreated iconic works in some impressive-looking voxel art.

Below you can see several key structures from major series such as Dark Souls, Bioshock, Fallout, and Final Fantasy in their diddy voxel form.

If you want to see each individual piece in more detail, and keep up with the project, then head on over to Home Advisor for more.
