‘The Conjuring’: A Live, Interactive Ghost Hunt This Week Will Explore the Real House of Horrors

James Wan’s The Conjuring was of course based on a real case investigated by the real-life Ed and Lorraine Warren, documenting the nightmare endured by the Perron family at their Rhode Island farmhouse back in 1971. The house is said to be haunted by the spirit of a woman named Bathsheba Sherman, and the new owners claim it is indeed still haunted.

Cory and Jennifer Heinzen are the latest owners of the farmhouse that was built in 1736, and on June 3, 2021 (that’s tomorrow!) they’re hosting a special event for Conjuring fans.

The press release explains…

“The paranormal tales are true. Are you brave enough to encounter The Conjuring like never before? This Thursday, June 3rd, horror fans will experience all the chills and thrills of a live, interactive ghost hunt in the real-life Conjuring House on Airtime – the burgeoning live social space where you can host a live room on any subject while blending video, audio and chat.

“Starting at 8pmET on Thursday, hosts of Airtime’s “Campfire Creepies” room, paranormal journalist Alex Aronson and Heidi Knight, will take you into the REAL Conjuring House for a live, interactive ghost hunt experience. Get ready for a night of spooks and scares because Alex will be spending the entire night in the house and is inviting the audience to guide him through the live experience, with Heidi moderating and assisting virtually to organize and support the audience participation.

“As an interactive and live event, viewers will experience the fear of watching a paranormal investigation unfold in real time. Those in virtual attendance can conjure up what Alex should do in the house and what questions he should ask the spirits.”

You can join the hunt exclusively through Airtime, and only in the “Campfire Creepies” room.
