Inland Empire Blu-ray from Criterion
Inland Empire will join The Criterion Collection with a Blu-ray release on March 21. David Lynch’s 2006 experimental horror film stars Laura Dern, Jeremy Irons, Justin Theroux, Harry Dean Stanton, Karolina Gruszka, Peter J. Lucas. Krzysztof Majchrzak, and Julia Ormond.
It has received a new HD digital master from a 4K restoration supervised by Lynch, with 5.1 surround DTS-HD Master Audio and uncompressed stereo soundtracks newly remastered by Lynch and original rerecording mixers Dean Hurley and Ron Eng.
The two-disc set includes the 2007 documentaries LYNCH (one) and LYNCH2, a new conversation between Dern and Kyle MacLachlan, 75 minutes of extra scenes, Lynch’s 2007 short film Ballerina, and more.
Zavvi has teamed up with artist Gary Pullin for E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial merchandise in honor of the film’s 40th anniversary. Pedal to the moon and back in limited edition Akedo high top sneakers, which will cost you $64.99.
If you’re not in the market for new shoes, the E.T. collection also includes Pullin’s artwork on giclee prints for $19.99-29.99, T-shirts for $19.99, hoodies for $39.99, denim jackets for $62.99, pillows for $24.99, and a director’s chair for $122.99.
Rawhead Rex 4K UHD from Kino Lorber
Rawhead Rex will be unleashed on 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray) on February 21 via Kino Lorber. The 1986 monster movie was restored in 4K from the original camera negative in 2017 and features new Dolby Vision HDR with 5.1 surround and lossless 2.0 audio.
Master of horror Clive Barker wrote the script based on his own short story, which originally appeared in 1984’s Books of Blood: Volume 3. George Pavlou directs, while David Dukes, Kelly Piper, Niall Tóibín, Cora Venus Lunny, Ronan Wilmot, Donal McCann, and Heinrich von Bünau star.
It features reversible artwork with art by Sean Phillips and the original poster. Special features include a commentary by Pavlou, interviews with several cast and crew members, and more.
Glass Onion Vinyl Soundtrack from Mondo
Mondo has pressed Glass Onion’s original motion picture soundtrack on 2xLP 180-gram clear vinyl. The score, composed by Nathan Johnson (Knives Out, Looper), has been mastered for vinyl.
The album is housed in a die-cut jacket designed by Jay Shaw and Mo Shafeek with an acrylic o-card and multiple inserts. Shipping in April, it’s available to pre-order for $50. The Knives Out soundtrack has also been restocked for $35.
Pinocchio may not be horror, but as you might expect from Guillermo del Toro, it embraces the source material’s darkness. The filmmaker personally asked James Jean to create artwork for the film, the result of which is as visually stunning as the movie.
14×23 archival prints on acid-free cotton rag paper are available for $100. The artwork also comes on T-shirts for $30, sweatshirts for $45, hoodies for $50, and tote bags for $30.

Killer Shorts Horror Writing Competition Open NOW With New Category for Feature Screenplays!
The annual genre competition dedicated to finding and launching the next generation of horror writing talent, this year’s Killer Shorts is now officially open for entries!
Founded in 2019, Killer Shorts has established itself as a premier industry launchpad. The competition connects screenwriters and prose authors directly with the executives, managers, and producers who actively greenlight and option dark genre cinema.
But this year’s competition isn’t only about killer horror shorts…
For this brand new season, Killer Shorts is expanding its categories to include feature-length screenplays alongside its traditional short script, one-page script, and short story divisions.
The Top 10 finalists across all categories are evaluated by an elite industry jury composed of over a dozen horror legends, literary managers, and producers. The panel includes:
