Every year our friends over at the VHS-obsessed Lunchmeat Magazine put out a new “Home Video Horrors” calendar, a 365-day celebration of the horror genre’s history on VHS. Personally speaking, it’s the only calendar I hang on my wall each year, and I’m happy to report that Lunchmeat has just launched pre-orders for their “Home Video Horrors” 2023 calendar.
Lunchmeat and photographer Jacky Lawrence with W.T. Scot present an all-new “Home Video Horrors” calendar featuring 12 brand spankin’ new photo tributes to some of the most iconic, incredible, and eye-popping VHS covers ever to stalk the horror section of the video store!
“Home Video Horrors” is a visual love letter to the greatest VHS covers in the horror genre. Each month of the calendar vibrantly celebrates a different VHS from the horror cult shelf, thoughtfully set in a scene reflective of the film’s signature content.
The “Home Video Horrors” 2023 Calendar measures approx. 8.5 x 11 inches closed, and 17 x 11 inches opened and is printed on high-quality, full-color semi-gloss paper.
Only 250 copies will be produced, and you can pre-order yours for $19.99 over on Lunchmeat’s website now. The calendars are expected to be delivered in January 2023.
