Fanta Summons a Line of ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ Sodas Including “Haunted Apple” Flavor!
The marketing for Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is kicking into high gear, with everything from new toys to apparel, Halloween decorations, and even Beetlejuice-themed Keebler Fudge Stripes cookies headed our way in the coming weeks. Officially announced this morning, soda company Fanta is summoning Beetlejuice with his own limited edition flavor!
The “Haunted Apple” flavor from Fanta is headed to grocery store shelves on August 12, with collectible Beetlejuice Beetlejuice-themed cans of regular Fanta flavors also being offered up.
The characters played by Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, Willem Dafoe, Catherine O’Hara and Monica Bellucci are featured on the collectible cans of orange, strawberry, lemon, pineapple and grape soda, while Michael Keaton’s Beetlejuice represents the Haunted Apple flavor.
The official press release details, “Fanta® is summoning Beetlejuice with his own Limited-Edition Fanta® Beetlejuice flavour, with the packaging showcasing the titular character himself, played by Michael Keaton. The new product offers a unique flavour expression and the iconic black-and-white striped design associated with Beetlejuice, available for a limited time.
“The full Fanta flavour range will receive limited time makeovers featuring the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice characters, including (range varies by market) Orange – Astrid (played by Jenna Ortega), Strawberry – Lydia Deetz (played by Winona Ryder), Pineapple – Delia Deetz (played by Catherine O’Hara), as well as Grape – Delores (played by Monica Bellucci), Lemon – Wolf Jackson (played by Willem Dafoe) and Strawberry Kiwi – Bob (the Shrinker!) Products feature a QR code that can be scanned for access to exclusive physical and digital experiences, including the chance to win tickets to catch the new movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in cinemas.”

Killer Shorts Horror Writing Competition Open NOW With New Category for Feature Screenplays!
The annual genre competition dedicated to finding and launching the next generation of horror writing talent, this year’s Killer Shorts is now officially open for entries!
Founded in 2019, Killer Shorts has established itself as a premier industry launchpad. The competition connects screenwriters and prose authors directly with the executives, managers, and producers who actively greenlight and option dark genre cinema.
But this year’s competition isn’t only about killer horror shorts…
For this brand new season, Killer Shorts is expanding its categories to include feature-length screenplays alongside its traditional short script, one-page script, and short story divisions.
The Top 10 finalists across all categories are evaluated by an elite industry jury composed of over a dozen horror legends, literary managers, and producers. The panel includes:
