Halloween Horror Nights Reveals 2025 Merch Including ‘Terrifier,’ ‘Jason Universe,’ ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’

Halloween Horror Nights has revealed its new merchandise for this year’s festivities, including apparel, souvenirs, decor, collectibles, accessories, and more from the horror properties that will haunt guests this spooky season.

Born from the twisted world of Terrifier, a new merch collection based on the highly anticipated haunted house includes a festive holiday sweater, an Art the Clown popcorn bucket, sinister shot glasses, terrifying headwear, and more.

Channel the chilling legacy and step into the Jason Universe with exclusive merch that horror fans and summer campers alike will kill to take home. Show your love for the slasher icon with hockey jerseys, t-shirts, pins, and more with the collection that screams vintage terror.

The Five Nights at Freddy’s haunted house inspires a killer assortment of collectibles, premium apparel and accessories including a bomber jacket, snapback hat, plush character headband, and more, all pulsing with retro flair and eerie nods to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

The “Fallout“-inspired collection brings post-apocalyptic flair to your everyday essentials featuring accessories built for survival and apparel straight out of Vault-Tec. From a water bottle bag to a collectible figure, these items are perfect for fans ready to embrace the retro-futuristic chaos of the Wasteland.

Rebellion meets style with the merchandise collection inspired by the WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks haunted house. This edgy lineup of products features a statement-making fanny pack, a sickening hat, and collectible pins that channel the chaotic energy of the group.

Universal Studios Japan’s fan-favorite original character HamiKuma will expand internationally via new merchandise, including a popcorn bucket featuring adorably creepy phrases, plush headwear, and much more.

Transforming Universal’s theme parks into terrifying environments complete with movie-quality haunted houses and themed scare zones, Halloween Horror Nights kicks off August 29 in Orlando, September 4 in Hollywood, September 5 in Japan, and September 26 in Singapore.

Killer Shorts Horror Writing Competition Open NOW With New Category for Feature Screenplays!

The annual genre competition dedicated to finding and launching the next generation of horror writing talent, this year’s Killer Shorts is now officially open for entries!

Founded in 2019, Killer Shorts has established itself as a premier industry launchpad. The competition connects screenwriters and prose authors directly with the executives, managers, and producers who actively greenlight and option dark genre cinema.

But this year’s competition isn’t only about killer horror shorts…

For this brand new season, Killer Shorts is expanding its categories to include feature-length screenplays alongside its traditional short script, one-page script, and short story divisions.

The Top 10 finalists across all categories are evaluated by an elite industry jury composed of over a dozen horror legends, literary managers, and producers. The panel includes:

  • John Zaozirny (Literary Manager & Producer, Bellevue Productions)
  • Tananarive Due (Author, Producer & Horror Historian)

Yes, yours truly is joining the Killer Shorts judging panel for the first time ever!

Killer Shorts has a proven track record of transitioning undiscovered writers into working professionals. Alumni success stories include Season 2 finalist Vanessa Võ, who signed with Bellevue Productions, and Season 3 finalist Kelly Nugent, who secured representation at Wonder Street.

Additionally, screenplays submitted for coverage that receive a “Recommend” rating qualify for inclusion on The Scream List. This real-time tracking board is monitored by top-tier genre companies, including Screambox, Raven Banner Entertainment, Zero Gravity Management, and Grey Matter Productions.

Submissions will be accepted across all major platforms, including the official Killer Shorts website, Scrybe, Stage 32, FilmFreeway, and Network ISA.
