Final Destination 3 famously opened with a harrowing roller coaster catastrophe at a theme park, which makes new haunted maze Final Destination: Death’s Playground the perfect addition to this year’s Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Fright Fest operates on select Thursdays through Sundays, from September 18 to November 1, offering 25 nights of fright. The park will be open for daytime operations on select calendar days from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with Fright Fest running from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Thursdays and Sundays, and 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
As for the new haunt, “Enter your Final Destination, a Haunted Maze where death itself is the antagonist, and where a sudden premonition reveals a chain of catastrophic events just moments before they occur. Watch your step, because death isn’t random — it’s calculated — and you’ve unknowingly disrupted a design already set in motion at Six Flags Magic Mountain.”
Final Destination: Death’s Playground joins The Warrens and Samhain in Fright Fest’s IP lineup this year:
