The mega-popular Ghost Face Vodka from Macabre Spirits, the horror-centric spirits company co-founded by Scream star Matthew Lillard, is getting a bloody sequel.
The label has announced that Ghost Face Vodka Blood Orange, its first-ever flavored vodka in collaboration with Fun World, is set to receive a nationwide retail rollout at Total Wine & More this month.
The original Ghost Face Vodka launched in February with a sold-out box set and is now continuing that momentum onto retail shelves.
“Ghost Face always comes back,” said Lillard, “and the best sequels always have a twist. We’re thrilled to work with Total Wine to bring the original flavor and blood orange to stores all across the country, and to introduce even more fans to a scary-good vodka worthy of the most iconic mask in horror.”
Ghost Face Blood Orange won’t only be scaring up fans on retail shelves; Macabre Spirits will be releasing a Ghost Face Blood Orange Killer Collection box set on September 29 as an exclusive online offering.
What this new box set entails remains under wraps as of now, but for reference, the original Ghost Face Vodka Killer Collection set contained an autographed bottle, a set of rocks glasses, and two collectible pins, sold out in less than two hours, leaving thousands of fans screaming for more.
“We were blown away by the response to the first box, but disappointed so many of our fans weren’t able to get their hands on one,” said Lillard. “If you weren’t able to score the original, we’re confident the sequel won’t disappoint.“
But wait! There’s more! Lillard will be doing meet & greet in-store signings and appearances in September and October at Total Wines across the country.
Per the press release, “Ghost Face Vodka is distilled from 100% non-GMO potatoes for a naturally gluten-free spirit with a signature creamy mid-palate and silky finish. Blood Orange was handcrafted at the company’s facility in Florida, where silky-smooth vodka was infused with pressed lemons, oranges, grapefruits and blood orange, then decanted and ran through a custom hybrid still to remove all residual sugar and color. What remains is a crystal-clear vodka that explodes with bright citrus aroma and flavor and finishes incredibly clean and smooth.”
