Funko may have the market cornered on cute and cuddly toys of our favorite pop culture icons, but DKE Toys is bringing a Ghostbusters treat to San Diego Comic Con this month that just might win over your heart.
Based on artist Scott C’s “The Great Showdowns” series of paintings, art shows and books, these figures were sculpted by George Gaspar of Double G toys. You get two hand cast and hand painted resin figures on each card featuring Scott C’s signature.
Each set is also numbered, with only 50 being made.
Great Showdowns is a chronicling of some of the greatest confrontations in film history. Since the beginning of time, there has been struggle. The epic clash of being against being. Tyrannosaurus Rex vs. Triceratops. Giant Squid vs. the Sperm Whale. The Circle vs. the Square. The struggle is forever. It makes the world turn around.
