Why adopt a dog when you can adopt a Xenomorph?!
I’m not sure that “cute” is the right word to describe any stage of the Xenomorph life cycle. Whether in the form of a Face Hugger, Chest Burster or full-grown Xenomorph, the Alien franchise’s antagonists are nothing short of pure nightmare fuel.
Well, they were until now.
Russian artist Ekaterina, who runs the Etsy shop Abalaba, specializes in handmade plush toys, and she’s just created her own version of the Xenomorph that’s way cuter than you probably ever thought such a creature could be. Made of fleece, wire and holofiber, this made-to-order Xeno is downright, dare I say, adorable.
The plush creation, unassumingly labeled “Alien toy” in Ekaterina’s Etsy shop, can be yours for $399. Hey, no one ever said adopting a Xenomorph was cheap!
