NECA’s ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’ Pale Man Figure is Perfectly Grotesque [Toy Fair]
Guillermo del Toro’s grossest creation comes to the toy shelf this year.
Previewed at Comic Con last year, NECA fully unveiled their upcoming Pan’s Labyrinth action figure at Toy Fair this weekend, showing off the Pale Man in all his glory.
“From the dark fantasy film Pan’s Labyrinth, the grotesque Pale Man is super-poseable and comes with a detailed Underworld Throne. Collectible deluxe window boxed packaging.”
The 7″ action figure is part of the new Guillermo del Toro Signature Collection, which also includes figures of the Faun from Pan‘s and Santi from The Devil’s Backbone.
The Pale Man will arrive in August 2018.
The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
