Christmas Comes Early as NECA’s ‘Silent Night, Deadly Night’ Figure Gets Standalone Release
Last year, NECA joined forces with Scream Factory for a special edition Silent Night, Deadly Night Blu-ray package, which included a Billy action figure that was exclusive to that particular offering. In other words, you couldn’t get the figure unless you bought the Blu-ray set. One year later, that same figure is getting a standalone re-release!
The 8″ Billy Chapman figure is dressed in a fabric Santa suit with removable sculpted hat and features the authorized likeness of actor Robert Brian Wilson. The figure is fully poseable and comes with axe and hammer accessories.
Unlike the Scream Factory edition, the figure will be housed in re-sealable clamshell packaging with modern artwork.
Billy returns to punish the naughty in September 2018.
The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
