Even if you weren’t a huge fan of Shin Godzilla, there’s a good chance you were blown away by the nighttime-set “Atomic Breath” sequence, which was legitimately one of the coolest things I saw at the movies in the year 2016. The Big G unleashed the full fury of his might in the epic scene, opening his mouth wide and spitting straight fire into the city below.
It was, in a single word, glorious. And NECA just made a figure based on that scene!
Shown off today, NECA’s “Atomic Blast” figure measures 6″ tall and 12″ long, head-to-tail. It features Atomic Blast effects that attach to both mouth and tail, all new paint deco, new head sculpt, and over 30 points of articulation, including an articulated tail.
The figure will be roaring onto toy shelves in November 2018.
