Not only did they write and direct the cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space, but the Chiodo Brothers also handmade the now-iconic Klowns. Thirty years later, their little clown movie is more beloved than ever, getting its own haunt at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando this year and celebrating its birthday proper last night at Cinepocalypse.
As part of the 30th anniversary festivities, the brothers have just added a series of five handmade Killer Klowns “Knock My Block Off Action Puppets” to their online shop!
The brand new (but familiar-looking) Klowns designed for the line are named Blubbo, Droog, Kvetch, Ozob and Snarlz, with 125 puppets made for each character. They’re billed by the Chiodos as “one-of-a-kind, highly detailed, hand painted, punching action puppets.”
