Spirit Halloween Will Exclusively Sell ‘Hocus Pocus’ POP! Vinyl Toys
Today, July 16, marks the 25th anniversary of Hocus Pocus, one of the all-time great classics in the world of Halloween movies. For the film’s big birthday, Funko and Spirit Halloween have joined forces for an exclusive wave of Hocus Pocus POP! toys… finally!
Sarah Sanderson, Winifred Sanderson and Mary Sanderson have been given the POP! treatment, with all three toys now up for pre-order and shipping on/before September 30.
Presumably, the three toys will also be available in physical Spirit Halloween stores.
In the meantime, pre-order yours through Spirit’s online shop!
The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
