Late ’90s Serial Killer Thriller ‘The Bone Collector’ Being Turned into NBC TV Series
Remember The Bone Collector? Released in 1999 and directed by Phillip Noyce, the thriller starred Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie on the hunt for a serial killer, and believe it or not, it’s coming back to life as a TV series. The Wrap reports today that NBC is developing a series adaptation of The Bone Collector, which started off as a Jeffrey Deaver novel.
The series will follow Lincoln Rhyme, a retired genius forensic criminologist left paralyzed after an accident on the job. When a harrowing case brings him back to the force, Rhyme partners up with an ambitious young detective, Amelia Sachs, to take down some of the most dangerous criminals in the U.S.
The project is from Universal Television and Sony Pictures Television in association with Keshet Studios.
For the first time since it sold out back in 2021, Spirit Halloween has brought their life-size replica of the Terror Dog from the original Ghostbusters back to life this week!
