[Toy Fair] NECA’s Figure of the Amphibian Man from ‘The Shape of Water’ is One Gorgeous Toy

Last year, NECA launched their new “Guillermo del Toro Signature Series,” a line of action figures inspired by del Toro’s best films. The company kicked off the Signature Series with Santi, the ghost boy from The Devil’s Backbone, as well as an action figure of the grotesque Pale Man from Pan’s Labyrinth. The Faun and Ofelia from Pan’s are also on the way.

The Signature Series also continues this year with an action figure of Doug Jones’s “Amphibian Man” from The Shape of Water, detailed with official images ahead of Toy Fair.

Shape of Water‘s lovable Amphibian Man stands approximately 8” tall, is super-poseable and comes with removable shackles, interchangeable head and display base.

Expect this figure in Q3 2019.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has three awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
